Why
Use Keith Kyle and South Bay Brokers
Quite
simply, the world of real estate has changed. Much as
other aspects of the world have gone digital, the home
buying and selling process has been revolutionized by
what's known as IDX, or internet data exchange which
allows consumers to see information such as on our South
Bay MLS search and current
listings.
What
does this mean for you?
What
used to be the sole domain of realtors.... access to
information on homes for sale, prices, and market comparables,
is now readily accesible by the general public.
In the new world of real estate, selling your home has
become primarily about getting your home exposed to
as many people as possible. In addition to advertising
through traditional media, listing your home on the
South Bay MLS, and more (see our marketing plan) we
have the knowledge to get your home maximum exposure
through sites such as KeithKyleHomes.com, Realtor.com,
SouthBayBrokers.com FindYourSouthBayHome.com, Truila.com,
Propsmart.com, California Association of Realtors, Estatoo.com,
Craigslist.com and many more.
Don't
believe it?......See what the recent report from a California
Association of Realtors® homebuyer
survey found out:
- In
2000, 28% of people said that they used the Internet
as an important part of their home-buying and selection
process. In 2006, 70% of homebuyers
said that the internet was an important part of their
eventual purchase.
- 86%
of home buyers started using the Internet as part
of their process BEFORE they started looking for a
specific home;the other 14% did after they started
looking, but BEFORE they contacted a real estate agent;
that means that 100% of buyers
surveyed started looking at homes first, agents second.
- Internet
buyers spent an average of 4.8 weeks doing research
before contacting an agent; traditional buyers only
1.7 weeks. That means an Internet buyer is better
prepared to be ready to buy a home.
- Internet
buyers bought a home on average after spending 2.2
weeks looking for a home with an agent; traditional
buyers spent an average of 7.1 weeks.
- Internet
buyers previewed an average of 6.7 homes with their
agent (they had already eliminated ones they did not
wish to see), traditional buyers previewed 15.4 homes.
The
bottom line is that your Realtor® must not only
understand the power of technology in selling homes,
but they must embrace it. Contact us today to learn
more about how we can help you buy or sell your home
in the South Bay and find out why Keith Kyle, South
Bay Brokes, and Find Your South Bay Home.com should
